Cancellation & Weather Policy

All tours (except Manuel Antonio National Park)

Individual bookings: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the tour date typically receive a full refund (excludes National Park tours and group bookings).

Late cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour, or no-shows, are non-refundable.

Manuel Antonio National Park tour policy

  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour start time incur a full penalty.
  • Park tickets are NOT refundable or modifiable for ANY reason once purchased on you or your client's behalf. There is a $25 per person penalty for tickets cancelled at any moment after they are purchased — purchase is immediate upon confirming the reservation.
  • We need every guest's full legal name, passport number, and country of issuance (typed out) at least 48 hours before the start of the tour.
  • Park tickets are tied to each individual. Guests must present a photo of their ID page (on their phone) of the passport used to confirm tickets, or their actual passport, to enter the park on the day of the tour.
  • No single-use plastic bottles are allowed in the National Park. The park may deny entry entirely if you bring single-use plastic, food, drugs, alcohol, or knives.
  • No food of any kind is permitted (no trail snacks or anything similar) unless you have young children.

Weather

Costa Rica is a tropical destination — rain is part of the experience and tours run in most weather. If conditions are genuinely unsafe, we'll reach out to reschedule or refund the affected portion of your booking.
